This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct reviews of CNA reports to ensure compliance with HUD requirements and industry standards before they are submitted to clients; responsible for quality assurance and control.
• Assess the technical accuracy and completeness of evaluations related to building components.
• Confirm cost estimates and analyses for replacement reserves.
• Examine property condition summaries and recommendations for immediate repairs.
• Ensure the correct application of HUD's CNA e-Tool.
• Validate calculations regarding the remaining useful life of building components.
• Review photographic documentation and supporting materials.
• Provide constructive feedback and requests for corrections to CNA preparers.
• Monitor review progress and adhere to project timelines.
• Meet billing targets, which may fluctuate based on project complexity.
• Mentor and train staff on inspection processes and workflow practices.
• Develop direct client relationships to support sales initiatives through account servicing.
• Act as the Project Lead, ensuring that all projects are adequately staffed, executed to high-quality standards, and delivered punctually.
• Oversee projects conducted by consultants and independent contractors.
• Ensure projects align with the client's objectives and scope expectations.
• Over 10 years of relevant professional experience in performing and reviewing Capital Needs Assessments and related building evaluations.
• Proven expertise in HUD's Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Guide.
• Proficient in utilizing HUD's CNA e-Tool.
• Strong comprehension of building systems and their components.
• Background in cost estimating and financial analysis.
• Exceptional writing abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
• Exhibits strong leadership qualities.
• Possesses an expert-level understanding of the HUD software suite.
• Ensures client satisfaction by recognizing AEI’s technical capabilities and understanding client needs.
• Personable and effective in communicating with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently on multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
