This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• In the role of CMS Support Developer, you will be tasked with maintaining and enhancing a portfolio of active client websites.
• Address ongoing website support tasks, which include fixing bugs, repairing broken elements, and adjusting layouts.
• Primarily work on WordPress websites while also providing support for other CMS platforms like Duda, Squarespace, and Divi.
• Establish and manage staging environments to ensure safe updates and testing procedures.
• Verify that daily backups are correctly set up and operational within hosting environments.
• Update and maintain themes, plugins, and various CMS components.
• Make updates to footers, contact forms, favicons, and various page elements.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to site speed, responsiveness, and overall performance.
• Implement and validate schema markup along with technical SEO enhancements.
• Identify and rectify technical SEO issues that affect search visibility.
• Monitor and uphold the overall health and stability of websites.
• Assist with integrations and ensure all functionality works seamlessly across forms, plugins, and external tools.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding fixes, updates, and timelines.
• Document recurring issues and their solutions to enhance efficiency over time.
• 2–4+ years of experience in WordPress and website maintenance/support.
• Experience with multiple CMS platforms (WordPress is required; familiarity with Duda, Squarespace, and Divi is advantageous).
• Strong grasp of website troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution techniques.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Knowledge of technical SEO concepts (including site speed, schema, indexing, etc.).
• Proven experience in setting up staging environments and managing backups.
• Comfortable working with hosting environments and performing basic server-side checks.
• Experience managing task-based or ticket-based workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to efficiently manage multiple small tasks.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written communication skills in English.
• Availability to work within or overlap with U.S. time zones.
