This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate whether members of the DIB have sufficiently prepared for compliance with CMMC regulations.
• Collaborate in a team that assesses an organization’s readiness for evaluation, which includes supporting and executing tasks such as: collecting and reviewing evidence, observing, testing, analyzing results, accurately scoring OSC practices, validating preliminary results, generating initial report findings, finalizing conclusions for an assessment report, and presenting recommended assessment outcomes.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Possess polished interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with team members and stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required, preferably in an IT-related discipline.
• US Citizenship is mandatory.
• Hold a completed Tier 3 Suitability with the Cyber AB.
• At a minimum, be a Certified CMMC Professional (CCP).
• Candidates with experience or prerequisites as a CCA professional will also be considered.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT Security / Cybersecurity sector is required.
• This experience must include at least 2 years in a client-facing role providing risk assessments (i.e., 171 assessments), advisory services, and/or consulting within a Federal environment.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the controls and implementation of DFARS Clause 252.204-7012 (NIST 800-171).
• Direct involvement or support in creating reports that effectively communicate met and unmet objectives in line with assessment guidelines.
• Ability to track detailed tasks and ensure the timely delivery of project outputs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Critical thinking skills, with the capacity to balance security requirements with mission objectives.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to coordinate, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to changes to fulfill assignments.
