CloudOps Administrator – N.A. Service Delivery Group

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Configure, oversee, and manage cloud instances of CBN STI solutions for clients in North America.

• Ensure that systems are consistently highly available, dependable, and secure.

• Install, set up, and maintain services, instance nodes, networks, and other IT infrastructure components.

• Design, sustain, and enhance infrastructure-as-code and automation pipelines.

• Monitor the performance of system and database instances, pinpoint issues, and optimize efficiency.

• Implement and manage security protocols to safeguard systems and database instances.

• Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies for both 24/7 and on-demand availability.

• Provide technical assistance for systems and instances in both test and production settings.

• Create and maintain documentation related to configurations, changes, processes, and procedures.

• Participate in an on-call rotation, working 1 week on and 5 weeks off.

• Travel is expected to be around 2–6 weeks annually.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess legal eligibility to work in the United States.

• Must have fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent additional relevant experience.

• Familiarity with system administration, cloud computing (Azure), and security best practices.

• Technical expertise in Linux, Windows Server, and cloud instances.

• Technical proficiency in VMWare, XCP-NG, and JVM virtualization.

• Technical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Technical expertise in Puppet, Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, and Helmchart for deployment/configuration.

• 4–7 years of experience in system/cloud administration, including at least 1 year in cloud administration.

• Capable of participating in an on-call rotation of 1 week on and 5 weeks off.

• Willingness to travel approximately 2–6 weeks per year.

• Preferred: CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or AWS Associate certification(s).

• Preferred: Hands-on experience in supporting hybrid cloud environments.

• Preferred: Knowledge and experience in DevOps.

• Preferred: Knowledge and experience in automation.
