This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs by addressing requirements and incidents in Latam projects.
• Provide first and second-level support in configuration and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting labs on servers and networks.
• Offer Level 1 technical support for production platforms and services.
• Manage incidents in accordance with established protocols and perform appropriate escalation.
• Deliver efficient and effective communication to the client.
• Document the support provided, both in tickets and on designated platforms.
• Manage activities necessary to execute in production environments, coordinating actions both internally and with clients for proper intervention.
• Generate testing and troubleshooting labs at the server and networking level.
• Regularly perform health checks on the platforms we support to ensure they are operating correctly.
• Be available to perform support tasks outside of regular hours for scheduled maintenance, deployments, or other activities with clients.
• Be available to participate in an on-call rotation system outside of regular hours for support.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Cloud Support Engineer, SRE, or equivalent role in infrastructure operation and support.
• Experience managing tickets and support processes (Jira, ServiceNow, or others), including clear documentation of diagnosis, evidence, and communication.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced Linux skills in production environments: troubleshooting services and the operating system (systemd, journalctl), permissions/users, processes, filesystem, and networking.
• Networking in Linux: configuration and diagnosis of interfaces, VLANs, routes, bonding, and MTU; troubleshooting with tools such as tcpdump (sniffing), ip, ss, ethtool, ping/traceroute.
• Virtualization: experience operating and supporting virtualized environments (KVM/VMware/Hyper-V or others), including diagnosis of common compute, network, and storage failures.
• Kubernetes: operation/administration and troubleshooting in production (Pods, Deployments/DaemonSets, Services, events/logs, readiness/liveness; basic knowledge of storage PV/PVC).
• Experience in critical mission-critical production systems, including incident management, coordination of actions in production, escalation, and effective communication.
• Automation: ability to resolve repetitive tasks using Bash and Ansible and/or Python (information gathering, operational checks, basic remediation, secure scripts for production).
• Intermediate English proficiency to read/write technical documentation, update stakeholders, and interact with vendors/manufacturers for support cases.
