Cloud Security Specialist, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Implement and manage security controls within AWS (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, among others).

• Configure native tools: GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config, WAF, Shield, Inspector, Macie.

• Monitor and respond to incidents (CloudWatch, logs, SIEM, analysis, and remediation).

• Define and execute DRP/BCP processes (RTO, RPO, backups, and testing).

• Manage vulnerabilities, patches, and track findings.

• Oversee identity and access management (IAM, RBAC, MFA, SSO, Secrets Manager).

• Ensure compliance with standards such as CIS, NIST, and SOC 2.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related fields.

• Over 3 years of experience in cloud security (minimum 2 years in AWS).

• Proven experience with AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, etc.).

• Experience in incident response and secure architectures.

• Knowledge of networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, etc.).

• Resident in Colombia (100% remote role).

• Preferred experience in tech/SaaS/logistics companies.

• Understanding of compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI).

• Intermediate English proficiency.
