Cloud Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain security measures within our AWS environment.

• Oversee and optimize AWS-native security tools such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Inspector, and others.

• Develop and enforce security policies for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) utilizing tools like Terraform.

• Perform regular assessments of AWS account architecture.

• Work collaboratively with Platform Engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cloud security alerts and incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in information security, cloud security, or security engineering roles.

• 3+ years of practical experience with AWS security services and architecture.

• Strong grasp of cloud-native security principles.

• Hands-on experience with Datadog Security or a similar cloud-native SIEM.

• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).

• Working knowledge of container and serverless security practices.

• Strong scripting and automation capabilities in Python, Bash, or comparable languages.

• Familiarity with prominent security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, SOC 2, ISO 27001.
