Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with various teams to develop and enhance intricate software and security tools that interface with multiple systems, processes, and standards.

• Contribute to improving the availability, performance, scalability, and security of Adobe's security tools.

• Conduct security analysis both before and during the build process across Adobe’s security tools.

• Maintain high levels of Security and Compliance in accordance with Adobe Standards, including collaborating with Adobe product teams on cloud deployment practices.

• Refine our development processes to align with industry best practices by aiding in the development of standards and utilizing automation.

• Enhance our development pipelines to enable faster and more dependable deployments.

• Concentrate on DevSecOps tools and strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with cloud service providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or Google GCP.

• Solid understanding of DevSecOps methodologies.

• Experience in building infrastructure using CloudFormation and/or Terraform, along with proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Rust, Go).

• Knowledge of orchestration tools (e.g., SaltStack, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and CI/CD infrastructure (e.g., Jenkins).

• Comprehension of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how to automate its components.

• Awareness of security infrastructure tools and components, network security, and operating system fundamentals.

• Experience in writing user documentation for features developed.

• Profound understanding of both software engineering and technical operations.

• Strong grasp of common security principles that support root-cause analysis for making data-driven decisions on patterns and trends.

• Previous experience in an agile or agile-like development environment.

• Proven success in implementing projects that necessitated collaboration with teams.

• Dependability: Honors commitments, works autonomously, accepts accountability, adapts to change, establishes personal standards, and remains focused under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills.
