Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical workshops for clients.

• Oversee deployments from the initial kickoff to operational handoff.

• Offer best-practice architectural recommendations to customers.

• Convert business needs into technical designs.

• Create High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and operational runbooks.

• Implement and develop Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection (CWPP) features.

• Integrate security tools into developer CI/CD pipelines through Shift-Left security practices.

• Protect cloud workloads.

• Collaborate on an enterprise cybersecurity initiative with Palo Alto Networks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or professional services.

• Practical experience with Prisma Cloud, Cortex Cloud, or equivalent CSPM/CWP products.

• Hands-on architectural expertise with at least one significant public cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong knowledge in container security, including Kubernetes/EKS/AKS/GKE.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform.

• Skilled in Python and Bash scripting.

• Demonstrated capability to manage time-to-value (TTV).

• Ability to navigate complex multi-cloud environments.

• Capacity to enable and educate clients.

• Practical Cloud Security experience, especially with Prisma Cloud.
