Cloud & Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of each engagement as the Engagement Lead, overseeing everything from kickoff to executive readout.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers and assume complete accountability for project delivery.

• Manage the scope, ensure compliance with statements of work, set success criteria, and handle change control, outcomes, and boundaries.

• Facilitate governance and cadence activities, which include standups, status updates, stakeholder and steering committee reviews, RAID management, and decision logs.

• Serve as the escalation point for any engagement risks and address issues that may impact scope, timelines, or client relationships.

• Ensure quality control through peer reviews and readiness checks on deliverables intended for clients.

• Lead a small team of 2–3 members through the stages of discovery, analysis, and executive readout.

• Establish quarterly and annual objectives while mentoring team members in their professional growth.

• Manage staffing and utilization for both sold and internal projects.

• Maintain the hygiene of engagements, which includes tracking risks, decisions made, and version control of artifacts.

• Conduct technical discovery and analysis across various domains, including multi-cloud, platform engineering, identity, networking, security, and application/data.

• Generate prioritized recommendations that include effort sizing and sequenced roadmaps.

• Convert findings into executive-ready narratives that are linked to business outcomes.

• Deploy AI-driven solutions to minimize manual work and speed up insights.

• Document and enhance delivery collateral, incorporating it into the Rapid Solutions playbook.

• Define and improve Rapid Solutions offerings, playbooks, templates, and standards for delivery.

• Collaborate with practice leaders to ensure alignment of standards with AHEAD delivery frameworks and cross-practice initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Proven leadership experience in managing engagements.

• Experience overseeing engagements from kickoff to executive readout.

• Familiarity with managing scope, statements of work, change control, governance, cadence, RAID management, and decision logs.

• Experience leading a small team of 2–3 members.

• Proven ability to set goals and provide structured coaching and feedback.

• Experience in staffing and managing utilization across various projects.

• Technical expertise in discovery and analysis across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Knowledge of platform engineering, identity, networking, security, and application/data domains.

• Capability to produce prioritized recommendations that include effort sizing and sequenced roadmaps.

• Ability to translate findings into executive-ready narratives that are linked to business outcomes.

• Experience in implementing AI-driven solutions.

• Familiarity with developing questionnaires, scoring rubrics, readout templates, playbooks, and delivery standards.
