This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to support and oversee customer environments in Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, and OCI), with a focus on database technologies such as SQL, PaaS, MongoDB, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, while being a key member of the Support Operations team.
• Take charge of tickets and alerts received by the operation: conduct preliminary analysis, drive resolutions within your technical expertise, assist Junior DBAs with inquiries, and escalate issues to the Specialized Operations team when progress stalls.
• Engage with clients: log ticket openings, provide consistent updates, and confirm closure with supporting evidence.
• Carry out tasks based on knowledge bases, playbooks, and internal or vendor documentation; propose new procedures, training, and support for recurring tickets.
• Manage known monitoring alerts, assess impact, and correlate events.
• Conduct initial technical validations and health checks in alignment with your specialty as per established procedures for each environment or client.
• Ensure that all escalations contain complete context, evidence, and performed validations to eliminate rework and prevent clients from having to repeat information.
• Document and record all actions in the ITSM with high quality and supporting evidence.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and AI utilization in daily activities and discuss these with management.

• Question and pinpoint improvement opportunities whenever you observe repetitive tasks, operational bottlenecks, or gaps in documentation, contributing to the continuous enhancement of operations.
• Manage the support interaction from the initial contact, adopting a proactive stance in finding solutions and communicating with the client until the ticket is successfully transitioned or resolved.
• Expertise in database administration and management.
• Required hybrid knowledge of MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in troubleshooting issues and incidents, analyzing tablespaces, object distribution, storage structures, database fragmentation, throughput (I/O), and tuning SQL query performance.
