
Cloud Migration Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee the entire execution process from the start of the project to the final handover.
• Finalize the draft Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to identify project tasks, resources, dependencies, risks, duration, and effort.
• Create the Integrated Project Schedule (IPS) to assess the project’s critical path and dependencies.
• Utilize a Kanban board and conduct daily standups to manage team activities, risks, and obstacles.
• Oversee project scope, timeline, budget, and quality control.
• Act as the main management liaison with Agency / Prime Contractor leadership.
• Coordinate technical efforts with all team members.
• Organize project kickoff meetings, status updates, technical reviews, and executive presentations.
• Compile and present weekly and monthly project status reports.
• Maintain the project Risk, Issue, Action Item, and Decision (RAID) log/playbook.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure deliverables are coordinated and submitted on time.
• Assist with change management activities and assess impacts on scope, schedule, and cost.
• Track project performance.
• Ensure adherence to contract requirements, quality standards, and security protocols.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer and project closure activities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least ten (10) years of experience in IT Project Management.
• A minimum of five (5) years managing IT projects for the Federal Government.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale Oracle enterprise application implementations or migrations.
• Experience in managing cross-functional technical teams.
• Familiarity with PMI project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience in migrating from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Experience overseeing Oracle EBS migrations to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Oracle Government Cloud environments.
• Experience managing FedRAMP Moderate cloud migration projects.
• Experience with Oracle EBS Release 12.2.x support.
