This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee AWS infrastructure across multi-account, multi-environment landing zones
• Install, set up, deploy, and sustain servers and software
• Monitor system performance and address issues, outages, and incidents
• Ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure through access controls, backups, and firewalls
• Collaborate within a SAFe delivery model alongside application, data, and security teams
• Provide support for IaaS, IaC, networks, and firewalls
• Carry out upgrades, IAVA patching, and STIG compliance activities
• Monitor system performance and maintain systems in accordance with contract specifications
• Manage resources within an AWS cloud environment
• Create and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
• Implement multi-region disaster recovery strategies
• Contribute to automation efforts for backup, failover, and resilience
• Demonstrated experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a comparable role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with teams, peers, and management
• Experience with servers, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management in virtual/cloud environments
• Ability to comprehend, distill, and document solution requirements
• Capacity to work with minimal oversight
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems and platforms
• Experience with production Kubernetes/EKS and containers, including Docker and image building
• Familiarity with Active Directory and identity federation integration
• Secret Clearance required to commence
• Over 7 years of experience in a related field
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Security+ Certification
• Knowledge of Git, GitLab CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, and Docker
• Experience with STIG compliance and security patching
• Understanding of AWS hosted environments and services
• Familiarity with server scripting, including Shell, YAML, and PowerShell
• Knowledge of automation technologies
• Strong understanding of Terraform, including modules, state management, and reusable IaC
• Proficient in Ansible
• Experience with observability and logging platforms, including Splunk and CloudWatch
• Knowledge of AWS Systems Manager for automated patching and configuration management
