Cloud Infrastructure, FinOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and OCI) within a complex, critical 24x7 setting.

• Manage infrastructure platforms including messaging (AMQ), batch processing (Control-M), SFTP, and integrations.

• Provide infrastructure support for third-party solutions such as SAP, Axway, and OAM.

• Implement and improve automation (Infrastructure as Code), ensuring consistency across processes.

• Establish and enforce guardrails and technical controls (e.g., AWS Service Control Policies, policies).

• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra services.

• Ensure reliable backups and recovery of environments.

• Manage vulnerabilities through patching, upgrades, and coordination of remediation with Information Security.

• Maintain an up-to-date Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and inventory.

• Monitor and optimize cloud expenditures, analyze discrepancies, and initiate corrective measures.

• Assist with tagging, reporting, and enhancing cost visibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OCI).

• Background in complex, critical environments that require high availability.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure services (compute, storage, networking, identity).

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).

• Familiarity with cloud governance, including policies and controls (e.g., AWS SCP).

• Proficiency with infrastructure platforms such as messaging (AMQ), batch processing (Control-M), and file transfer (SFTP).

• Knowledge of identity management systems (Active Directory and Microsoft Entra).

• Experience in cloud cost management (FinOps), analyzing consumption, and driving optimization.

• Understanding of tagging, billing, and consumption control mechanisms.

• Experience with backup processes and environment recovery strategies.

• Familiarity with security protocols, patching, and infrastructure governance.

• Hands-on experience managing cloud operations and cost management (FinOps) on a daily basis.

• Experience in organizing or restructuring unmanaged cloud environments to establish standards and governance.

• Background in cost-optimization initiatives with significant budgetary implications.

• Experience in highly complex critical environments reliant on integrations and third-party platforms.

• Experience in implementing or refining governance processes (e.g., tagging, consumption control, organization of environments).
