Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee production Kubernetes clusters, including workload scheduling, resource quotas, network policies, ingress/egress controls, and RBAC.

• Develop and sustain deployment strategies utilizing Helm, Kustomize, and Kubernetes operators.

• Construct and enhance CI/CD pipelines based on Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies.

• Provision and manage infrastructure through tools like Terraform or comparable automation platforms.

• Create secure container images and oversee image versioning and promotion across various environments.

• Implement observability solutions using technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools.

• Conduct load testing, resilience validation, performance tuning, and capacity planning efforts.

• Execute Linux administration tasks, troubleshooting, and system hardening.

• Support stateful workloads like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.

• Engage in incident response, root cause analysis, and initiatives to enhance reliability.

• Document architecture, operational procedures, backup and recovery plans, and infrastructure lifecycle strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE positions.

• Practical experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production settings.

• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.

• Strong understanding of containerization and security best practices.

• Proficient in Linux administration and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.

• Knowledge of networking, Kubernetes security, and deployment strategies.

• Experience with load testing and performance evaluation.

• Capability to collaborate effectively across technical teams in a cooperative environment.
