Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Engage with client technical personnel (engineers) to: Comprehend client needs and specifications.

• Determine necessary system components.

• Work alongside client engineers to choose suitable system solutions, ensuring effective migration and issue resolution processes and systems.

• Create solutions for client systems management initiatives, including: Identifying essential hardware and software to meet client requirements.

• Oversee the installation and configuration of Windows server operating systems, email systems, monitoring tools, and migration utilities.

• Test and confirm the proper functionality of modifications made to client systems, including validating the interoperability and scalability of the system architecture.

• Offer recommendations regarding Local Area Network (LAN) and firewall modifications.

• Document specifications and project implementation reports for clients.

• Provide training to clients on system administration and maintenance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Excellent English verbal and written communication abilities.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a computer systems engineering role or similar positions where relevant skills were developed.

• Experience must encompass:

• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system software (Windows Server), email software (Microsoft Exchange Server), communication server software (Microsoft Lync or Skype for Business), internet directory services software (Microsoft Active Directory), backup software (Microsoft Data Protection Manager), and local area networks.

• Strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail.
