Cloud Engineer – Platform (Mid-level)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain Azure-based infrastructure utilizing Terraform modules (IaaS and PaaS resources) as part of new initiatives or necessary updates for production environments.

• Resolve IaaS and PaaS issues reported through incidents in ServiceNow while adhering to ticket closure SLAs.

• Documentation and knowledge sharing: produce and maintain environment diagrams, runbooks/procedure manuals, operational guides, and documents outlining best practices.

• Engage with internal business partners, including offering guidance on application design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in core Azure services: Resource Manager, Virtual Machines/Scale Sets, Storage (Blob/Files), Networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, DNS, Private Link).

• Experience managing Windows or Linux systems, coupled with robust troubleshooting abilities.

• Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Experience with Terraform.

• Capacity to work autonomously and take initiative without supervision, leveraging strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including meeting deadlines, collaborating in a team environment, adhering to written policies and procedures, and consistently delivering excellent customer service.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with Bicep and/or ARM templates.

• CI/CD and automation: Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions (YAML).

• Knowledge of configuration management tools, preferably Ansible.

• Familiarity with the configuration and management of Kafka, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or PowerShell.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
