Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and oversee cloud-based networks and systems.

• Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance network performance.

• Provide support for cloud-based applications and services.

• Contribute to business development efforts, including technical interviews, creating technical documentation, providing proposal writing assistance, and conducting proposal color reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Scientific disciplines, or Mathematics.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Possession of a cloud certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer.

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Advanced understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, and DNS.

• Familiarity with network monitoring and performance management tools.

• Proficient scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Ability to comfortably sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.

• Capability to lift weights up to 10–15 pounds at a time.
