This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Architect, develop, and sustain scalable cloud infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Create, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient and dependable software delivery.
• Ensure that cloud infrastructure complies with best practices regarding security, scalability, availability, and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows adhering to DevOps best practices.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems utilizing tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Work collaboratively with development and QA teams to promote seamless and effective cloud operations.
• Actively participate as a member of a cross-functional Agile/Scrum team.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud, network, and infrastructure promptly.
• Lead initiatives for cost optimization, resource efficiency, and performance enhancements across cloud environments.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline is preferred.
• 6–8 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or comparable roles.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP); exposure to multiple cloud platforms is a significant advantage.
• In-depth understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-native architecture principles.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience in constructing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong command of Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Good understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, DNS, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Experience in implementing cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE) and familiarity with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Cloud Run) is a plus.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Dynatrace, along with cloud cost optimization / FinOps practices, is a plus.
• Contributions to open-source projects and/or relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Associate Cloud Engineer) are considered an added advantage.
