This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and manage all facets of loan closings.
• Confirm locks, as well as hazard and flood insurance coverage.
• Examine outstanding items on title commitments.
• Ensure that loans are not closed until all underwriting contingencies are resolved.
• Support the Branch Manager in overseeing loan closing associates.
• Predict loan funding requirements.
• Maintain an appropriate timeline to handle funding volume effectively.
• Follow up on all documentation related to submitting files to Corporate Closed Loans.
• Coordinate closings with lenders, escrow and pipeline coordinators, branch managers, and loan officers.
• Track fees charged and collected, as well as waived fees, to reconcile lender payments with demands (brokered).
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of funding and processing experience, encompassing both conventional and government loans.
• A strong computer background with 3 to 5 years of experience in mortgage software, along with working knowledge of Excel and Word for Windows.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of preliminary title report endorsements and the potential issues that may arise with them.
