This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and finalize Closing Disclosures (CDs) to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and adherence to TRID, RESPA, and relevant federal and state regulations.

• Acquire and verify final closing details from settlement agents and conveyancing attorneys.

• Confirm funding figures, including final wire amounts and the validation of wiring instructions.

• Ensure that Closing Disclosures and closing packages are issued prior to the closing date.

• Examine loan closing packages for completeness and accuracy ahead of their release.

• Distribute finalized Closing Disclosures and closing documentation to settlement agents, attorneys, brokers, and borrowers.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure loans progress smoothly and all closing deadlines are adhered to.

• Monitor the expiration of rate locks.

• Track scheduled loan closings and maintain consistent communication.

• Update the Loan Origination System with finalized closed loan information.

• Maintain files for settlement agents and attorneys.

• Assist settlement agents and attorneys during closing to address any issues that may arise.

• Respond to requests from internal and external audits.

• Provide support to the Post Closing team by assisting with trailing documents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with TRID and Closing Disclosures is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in residential loan closing and/or familiarity with the Encompass Loan Origination System is preferred.

• Strong skills in organization and time management.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Above-average computer proficiency; experience with loan origination systems and common office applications is preferred.
