Clinician Coding Liaison – ENT, Audiology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Provide proactive coding education through newsletters, scorecards, and presentations.

• Oversee onboarding and compliance training for all employed Physicians/APPs.

• Offer personalized documentation feedback by reviewing records of new clinicians.

• Act as the main point of contact for coding-related inquiries.

• Supervise Epic work queues to ensure timely and precise charge submissions.

• Collaborate with various departments to improve documentation practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required certification: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Coding Specialist (CCS), Coding Specialist – Physician (CCS-P) from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), or Professional Coder (CPC) from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

• Preferred experience in ENT/Audiology.

• Advanced Coding Expertise: Extensive knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.

• Medical Terminology & Anatomy: Strong comprehension of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

• Advanced proficiency in Epic and other reporting tools.
