Clinical/Counselling Psychologist – Young Persons

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver safe and high-quality therapy services to children and adolescents aged 11 to 17.

• Conduct assessments and develop clear, evidence-based care plans.

• Provide therapy sessions through secure video consultations.

• Collaborate closely with families, schools, and other support networks to share pertinent information.

• Adhere to safeguarding protocols to ensure the safety of young individuals.

• Manage risks and implement support plans as necessary.

• Coordinate with colleagues across the broader therapy team to provide integrated care.

• Assist with referrals and guide clients towards appropriate services when needed.

• Offer one-off assessments, wellbeing support, or group sessions as required.

• Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings to foster your professional development.

• Contribute to enhancing the support we provide to our customers and colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.

• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

• Experience working with children and young people aged 11 to 17.

• A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience.

• Proficient in delivering therapy remotely.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor interactions to various ages and needs.

• A compassionate, calm, and professional demeanor.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage your own caseload.

• Confidence in working independently while remaining connected to a larger team.

• Familiarity with IT systems and managing patient records.

• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Desirable: Additional specialized therapy training.

• Experience in corporate or private healthcare environments.
