Clinical Trials Business Development Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Establish and maintain enduring relationships with Investigators and representatives from Medical Institutions, as well as with current and prospective clients of Milestone One (sponsors and CROs).

• Contribute to the promotion of the Milestone One brand by onboarding new clinics and expanding our network of sites.

• Perform research on potential clients to develop a broader network.

• Organize meetings with Investigators and representatives from pharmaceutical and CRO companies to showcase business opportunities and the advantages of collaborating with Milestone One.

• Collaborate with the Marketing team in the creation of promotional materials.

• Participate in medical and pharmaceutical conferences, as well as training workshops as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college or university degree; a degree in life sciences is advantageous.

• At least 4 years of experience in the clinical trials sector.

• Experience interacting with medical institutions and physicians, or working as a site manager on location.

• Prior experience in business development, fostering relationships with sites, clients, or in a sales role within healthcare or the clinical trials industry.

• Strong analytical skills to assess customer data, interpret industry trends, respond to proposals, create presentations, and communicate effectively.

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team member capable of managing time efficiently and working autonomously.

• Ability to cultivate client relationships, genuinely understand their challenges, and proactively suggest solutions.

• Proficient in both English and German.

• General knowledge of the clinical trial process, including its requirements and regulations.

• Exceptional sales capabilities.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

• Effective problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team.

• Valid category B driver’s license.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and capable of conducting internet research.
