This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Responsible for the entire process of investigator engagement, from identification and qualification through enrollment, as well as supporting database lock and study closeout.
• Act as a scientific ambassador for clinical trials, ensuring that investigators have a comprehensive understanding of the protocol's intent, scientific rationale, and patient eligibility criteria.
• Build and maintain strategic, trust-based relationships with investigators across various trials and therapeutic areas.
• Drive enrollment by collaboratively developing customized recruitment strategies that align with site capabilities, patient demographics, and study goals.
• Actively identify opportunities to connect with new patients, expedite enrollment, and enhance impact at key sites, including innovative site models and community-based research initiatives.
• Gather and elevate crucial insights from sites to improve feasibility, protocol design, and study execution.
• Direct site-level strategy and risk management to ensure consistent and predictable enrollment and data delivery.
• Utilize performance metrics to foresee potential issues, take decisive action, and sustain progress towards clinical milestones.
• Foster a culture of inspection readiness across all sites as an ongoing practice.
• Collaborate with various functions and vendor partners to overcome operational challenges, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of local treatment standards and standard of care to inform strategic country/site selection and protocol adaptation.
• Oversee and ensure quality assurance for vendor monitoring, proactively escalating risks.
• Develop a network of strategically aligned, high-impact investigators.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a strong preference for backgrounds in scientific, clinical, or health-related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical research or the pharmaceutical industry, with direct interaction or collaboration with healthcare professionals and clinical sites.
• Willingness to travel up to 60-80% during peak periods (travel requirements may vary).
• Experience in oncology is mandatory.
