
Clinical Therapist – Intensive Outpatient Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Lead virtual IOP group therapy sessions in accordance with the weekly schedule.
• Provide bi-weekly individual therapy for your assigned caseload.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and create tailored treatment plans.
• Ensure timely and thorough documentation that meets state, payer, and Joint Commission standards.
• Utilize evidence-based methods with a focus on trauma, addiction, and co-occurring disorders.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to maintain continuity of care.
• Engage in virtual clinical meetings and case consultations.
• Contribute to program development as the IOP expands.
• Licensure (Required): Must hold one of the following West Virginia licenses (provisional accepted with supervision): LPC, ALPC, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist.
• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health, SUD, or co-occurring treatment.
• Proven experience in facilitating group therapy (either virtual or in-person).
• Knowledge of ASAM criteria, DSM-5-TR, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
• Strong therapeutic presence in a virtual setting.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Capable of efficiently managing group facilitation, individual sessions, and documentation.
• Organized, dependable, and dedicated to providing patient-centered care.
