This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Lead a group of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) through consistent one-on-one meetings that concentrate on clinical coaching, skill enhancement, mentorship, and professional growth.
• Ensure that the SLP team is proficient and effective in utilizing Expressable tools (Cue, Slack, Reach, Guru, etc.), while identifying opportunities for training and improvement.
• Guarantee the timely completion of both internal and external training and compliance by the SLP team.
• Act as a resource for the SLP team in navigating Expressable’s knowledge base, covering policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage and address clinical escalations in collaboration with other leaders in the organization as required.
• Communicate organizational updates effectively, ensuring that key messages are understood and acted upon by the SLP team.
• Organize monthly team meetings to promote engagement and collaboration among SLPs, focusing on clinical excellence and the application of Expressable’s client care model.
• Cultivate a positive and supportive atmosphere by establishing strong relationships with treating SLPs, while advocating for a culture of collaboration, growth, and reciprocal feedback.
• Take ownership of and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned team members, which include SLP efficiency, quality of care, documentation compliance, and client satisfaction/engagement.
• Examine trends at the individual level to pinpoint performance strengths and improvement areas, collaborating with leadership based on data-driven insights.
• Identify and execute data-informed performance interventions, encompassing standards goals, intervention strategies, and counseling records.
• Serve as the main contact for SLPs on change communications, promoting constructive feedback and improvement opportunities while ensuring effective information dissemination and understanding.
• Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to support Expressable’s strategies and initiatives.
• Conduct initial interviews of SLP candidates to support the ongoing expansion of the provider base.
• Carry out evaluations and sessions with a suitable clinical caseload, adapting to the organization’s needs.
• Exemplify clinical excellence and keep abreast of the latest best practices in the field.
• At least 2 years of experience post-Clinical Fellowship.
• Experience in pediatric and/or school-based environments.
• Proficient in pediatric assessments.
• Previous leadership experience is essential.
• ASHA Certified/Certificate of Clinical Competence is required.
• Full licensure in the state of residence.
• Individual NPI number is necessary.
