Clinical Specialist – Surgical Robotics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of the installation, initiation, customer training, account assessment, and optimization of the HUGO surgical robot system.

• Integrate the HUGO™ RAS-system within hospitals, which includes enhancing current programs, establishing new ones, or transitioning from different platforms.

• Engage with robotic program stakeholders to set program objectives and performance metrics.

• Conduct routine program review meetings.

• Create training plans for surgeons and coordinate Medtronic's off-site training along with proctored cases.

• Formulate training plans for staff and assist them throughout their learning process.

• Participate in surgical cases during the learning sessions of surgeons and staff to facilitate technology adoption.

• Apply change management strategies to involve clinical stakeholders and secure their support.

• Mentor hospital staff to encourage skill transfer and independence in operations.

• Collaborate with Medtronic field service engineers and hospital personnel to prepare operating rooms for the HUGO™ RAS-system.

• Provide dedicated account support during the necessary period for successful integration within the hospital.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, etc.).

• A Master’s Degree is preferred.

• Proficiency in both English and German.

• Additional language skills are an advantage.

• Willingness to travel extensively within your country (>75%).

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Solid knowledge and experience pertaining to operating rooms and surgical procedures.

• Adherence to hospital or clinic credentialing requirements for patient-facing field roles.
