Clinical Specialist, Medical Devices – Structural Heart

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Successfully complete Abbott’s internal training program encompassing hemodynamics, ECG, angiography, echocardiography, CT imaging modalities, case support, and proctor delegate authorizations.

• Provide active commercial case support and demonstrate outstanding procedural success rates and patient outcomes.

• Participate in sterile procedures and assist with TAVI valve loading during surgeries and customer training sessions.

• Deliver CT valve sizing analysis to customers utilizing the Pie Medical 3Mensio CT program.

• Conduct customer educational sessions to facilitate account activation prior to the first implants.

• Oversee pre-case planning and post-procedure debriefings for cardiac teams.

• Offer ongoing education as needed to ensure appropriate in-service levels are maintained.

• Manage the acquisition of commercial inventory and field trunk stock.

• Provide documentation for quality assurance initiatives.

• Collaborate with the Territory Manager to co-develop the commercial business plan for the designated region.

• Input data into Salesforce and Mentor software for effective management of customer case support.

• Navigate hospital environments, participate in cath lab procedures, and support healthcare professionals during device implantation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a related field.

• MBA is preferred.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical roles within the medical device or equipment sector.

• Prior experience as a Clinical Specialist or Product Specialist in medical devices is required.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

• Knowledge of hemodynamics, ECG, angiography, echocardiography, and CT imaging modalities as demonstrated through necessary internal training.

• Capability to operate the Pie Medical 3Mensio CT program.

• Proficient in using Salesforce and Mentor software for customer case support management.
