Clinical Specialist II – MedTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Responsible for clearly conveying the product and clinical advantages of Barostim therapy to cardiologists, specialists in heart failure and hypertension, as well as cardiac and vascular surgeons to ensure their comprehension of the therapy.

• Conduct training sessions and various programs on the correct application of Barostim therapy for clinicians, office staff, and hospital personnel.

• Offer technical assistance and troubleshooting during implant procedures, follow-up visits, titrations, and patient consultations to ensure favorable clinical outcomes.

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to devise effective strategies for communicating the benefits of our technology, customized for specific markets.

• Partner with Territory Managers, key physicians, and site personnel to formulate and implement a plan for the successful launch of CVRx programs at new customer locations and to foster ongoing commitment to the program.

• Promote the use and continuous growth of Barostim therapy through disease state education and by supporting the development of therapeutic programs.

• Serve as a clinical liaison between the medical community and the business sector.

• Engage with current and prospective healthcare providers to identify their clinical requirements, objectives, and constraints related to patient care, delivering innovative and practical solutions.

• Comply with sales management protocols and utilize reporting systems, including keeping an accurate log of devices and programmers at all times in Salesforce.

• Provide additional support to other field staff as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to effectively manage relationships with key customer groups and CVRx personnel.

• Ability to master complex medical and surgical concepts, as well as the intricacies of active implantable medical device technology.

• Experience with products related to cardiology or cardiac surgery therapeutic devices; heart failure experience is preferred.

• Independent, self-driven, and motivated individual with the determination and resilience to introduce an innovative technology to the market and help it become the standard of care.

• Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning Salesforce, content management, learning management, and other relevant systems as necessary.
