This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Delivers technical, clinical, and programming support, primarily assisting 1-2 Territory Manager(s).
• Aids Territory Managers with after-hours call support and related activities.
• Engages with all accounts, fostering trust and building strong relationships with customers.
• Skilled in complex programming and case support.
• Collaborates effectively with Territory Manager(s), thereby increasing their selling time.
• Cultivates high-trust relationships with customers, including regional team members.
• Initiates PCP work and educational in-services as directed.
• As instructed by the sales manager, reaches out to, visits, and engages clients and potential clients regarding the Company’s products while addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Offers medical professionals sales support, information, and training on the use of Company products, including staff education, in-services, and technical troubleshooting.
• Develops and sustains an in-depth understanding of assigned accounts and customers, including competitor activity.
• Conducts evaluations and formulates sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities within accounts.
• Gathers and analyzes information about new and existing products, monitoring competitor sales, prices, and offerings.
• Provides feedback to providers, both in and out of the operating room, regarding the directions for use of implantable devices.
• May participate in trade shows showcasing new products and technologies and attend conferences to network with other sales representatives and clients to discuss new product developments.
• Applies clinical expertise to identify customer training and in-service needs to enhance customer usage, comfort, and understanding of all Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies product lines.
• Adheres to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory standards, Company policies, operational procedures, processes, and assigned tasks.
• Provides sales support, clinical in-services, training, and guidance to current and prospective customers.
• Maintains positive and collaborative communication with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned on occasion.
• Must be willing to travel 25% within the assigned region and/or beyond.
• Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 - 2 years of work experience, preferably in collaboration with patients in a clinical setting.
• Ability to communicate, comprehend, and educate on clinical data within the Chronic Pain Therapies domain.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the capability to effectively communicate at various levels and to large groups both within and outside the organization.
• Proficient in building robust working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Capable of adapting to an unpredictable schedule that may occasionally change on short notice due to operating room schedule adjustments or delays.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to operate in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Capable of functioning both within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, evolving setting.
• Proficient in leveraging and/or engaging others to achieve project goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at various organizational levels.
• Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines promptly.
• Able to engage customers in selling conversations as needed and directed by the Territory Manager.
