Clinical Sales Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Clinical Sales Specialist for clients, effectively promoting the usage and growth of TEG & Cell Saver product lines at established customer locations within a specified territory.

• Assist in the ongoing account management sales process through clinical education and continuous case support across all current and prospective operational areas and clinical uses at the customer site.

• Manage territory for the existing customer portfolio.

• Enhance product utilization at current accounts and expand the customer base through the clinical education of new users, driving revenue growth.

• Ensure that customers can operate Haemonetics equipment, software, and related disposables for the assigned product line independently, safely, and efficiently.

• Train both new and existing customers on all product and clinical aspects related to the assigned product line.

• Summarize training sessions and ensure necessary follow-ups through onsite support in various operational areas such as lab, critical care, and OR.

• Offer clinical expertise to guarantee that our product line meets standard of care levels within the account.

• Help drive and expand current business by broadening the application of our products within the account.

• Provide dedicated onsite support for new customers transitioning to the technology or additional assays, covering all impacted shifts and areas of use case support and training, including after-hours assistance.

• Address technical, operational, and clinical customer concerns through precise and timely investigations, collaborating with cross-functional team members to develop solutions.

• Enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional literature, building personal networks, and participating in professional societies and conferences.

• Maintain records within the CRM tool for the area of responsibility and customers within that area to provide history.

• Support VAD/ECMO customers, Trauma, CV, High-Risk Obstetrics, Liver transplant, Vascular, and all Critical Care clinicians in utilizing TEG.

• Assist customers in customizing their product training materials and addressing their specific needs.

• Understand the competition and competitive landscape within the existing territory, converting to TEG Haemonetics business in current accounts.

• Collaborate closely with the Territory Sales Manager in overlapping markets to identify key accounts for expansion and forecast revenue growth during quarterly business planning and monthly management calls.

• Provide support at tradeshows, both regionally and nationally.

• Generate demand for device and software upgrades as well as additional devices.

• Work closely with the Territory Sales Manager and Implementation team during the laboratory installation, validation, and verification processes, including assistance with training, competency, SOP and IQCP development, donor sourcing, logistics support for the TEG program, and ordering/interfacing needs.

• Build and develop multi-level relationships (including C-level) within the defined territory.

• Engage in product development market needs and/or quality investigation needs and launches, providing feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Medical Technology (required).

• Master’s degree in Arts, Science, or Business Administration (preferred).

• Over 5 years of experience as a Nurse in Cardiovascular Surgery, Critical Care, or Trauma.

• Proven written communication skills.

• Excellent verbal communication and listening abilities.

• Capability to persuade with a demonstrated history of driving product adoption.

• Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with clinicians at a high level and adept at developing customer relationships.

• Robust project management and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of hemostasis management is essential.

• Strong technical and clinical aptitude to train customers and users on products, including operating the TEG® Analyzer, understanding result applications, and manipulating the software.
