Clinical Research Patient Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Strategize, organize, and execute recruitment initiatives to achieve targeted enrollment objectives for study protocols.

• Recruit suitable participants for clinical research protocols.

• Conduct phone screenings with patients or caregivers in a compassionate and understanding manner.

• Accurately record patient information within the computer database.

• Coordinate and rearrange patient screening and prescreening appointments.

• Handle incoming calls from patients expressing interest in research studies.

• Assess potential subject eligibility through screening interviews, reviews of medical records, or consultations with site clinic personnel.

• Stay informed about clinical research studies as well as inclusion and exclusion criteria.

• Document patient contact status and refresh database information.

• Review, contact, and update sponsor patient portals as necessary.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• At least 6 months of experience in a medical setting, customer service, call center, or a related field.

• Proficiency in computer applications, including email, electronic health records, and basic software.

• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.

• Excellent organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and basic mathematical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changes in workload and priorities.

• Ability to manage highly sensitive patient health information with confidentiality and professionalism, adhering to HIPAA regulations.

• Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or another medical license is highly preferred.

• Experience with calendar management/scheduling and clinical trial management systems is strongly preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
