This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Review surveys from physicians and patients to ensure accuracy in clinical and therapeutic areas.
• Evaluate whether survey questions accurately represent real-world clinical practices.
• Identify any clinical content that may be inaccurate, outdated, ambiguous, or incomplete.
• Assess if the response options realistically reflect clinical decisions and patient experiences.
• Offer clear suggestions for enhancing survey quality.
• Utilize expertise in disease areas to analyze terminology, disease characteristics, treatment pathways, therapeutic options, and standards of care.
• Review the accuracy of representations related to diagnosis, treatment selection, sequencing, and ongoing management.
• Examine content related to symptoms, treatment burdens, outcomes, and patient experiences.
• Review materials pertaining to prostate cancer, ulcerative colitis/IBD, migraine, and COPD as applicable.
• Collaborate with survey methodology professionals when necessary.
• Analyze question phrasing, survey design, interpretability, and potential ambiguities.
• Provide evidence-based written recommendations to research and project teams.
• Differentiate between significant clinical issues and minor wording preferences.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a relevant therapeutic or clinical area.
• Comprehensive understanding of disease management, treatment landscapes, and real-world clinical decision-making processes.
• Relevant professional experience in medical affairs, clinical research, medical writing, life sciences or healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical research, healthcare insights or market research, scientific communications, or clinical practice.
• Strong capability to identify clinically inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated survey content.
• Experience with physician or patient market research is a plus but not mandatory.
• Design or administration experience with pharmaceutical market research surveys is especially advantageous.
• Excellent analytical judgment and written communication skills.
• An MD or other clinical degree is preferred but not a requirement.
• Relevant expertise in oncology, gastroenterology/IBD, neurology, pulmonology, or respiratory medicine is strongly valued.
• Work must be conducted without utilizing any confidential or proprietary information owned by any employer, client, institution, or other third party.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support will not be provided for this position.
• Flexible scheduling based on project requirements.
• Potential for continued project engagements.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded depending on project needs and performance.
