Clinical Research Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee clinical investigators and sites that are considered for or participating in the client’s clinical trials and Post Marketing Safety Studies.

• Identify and assess the qualifications of investigators and sites.

• Achieve clinical trial enrollment in line with scientific objectives.

• Ensure timely database locks.

• Address issues arising at clinical trial sites.

• Maintain inspection readiness for designated therapeutic areas.

• Manage investigators and sites comprehensively by utilizing information and tools to facilitate informed decisions.

• Engage with global clinical trial sites to foster a high-quality customer experience.

• Supervise vendor monitoring activities at clinical trial sites.

• Identify, mitigate, and escalate significant findings and trends.

• Perform hybrid Lead CRA and junior management responsibilities.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on clinical research initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA / BS/ BSc in the sciences or an RN is required and preferred.

• A bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field is essential.

• Experience in managing external vendors (CROs, central labs, imaging vendors, etc.) is needed.

• Strong experience in investigator-sponsored studies obtained within the industry at a clinical trial manager level.

• Prior experience as a Senior CRA (Clinical Research Associate) is required.

• Relevant experience in clinical research, site management, or a related field is preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.

• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities are essential.

• Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory standards for clinical trials is required.

• Previous experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO company is preferred.

• Willingness to travel on average 6 times per month.

• Valid and current eligibility to work in the UK is required.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located is necessary.
