This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Recruit participants utilizing approved methodologies; assess and monitor eligibility of participants.

• Enroll participants, clarify research procedures, and secure informed consent.

• Arrange study appointments and perform reminder calls, messages, or mailings.

• Conduct study visits, qualitative interviews, quantitative evaluations, and surveys.

• Store and review participant data in accordance with study protocols.

• Manage participant remuneration.

• Organize and ensure quality of study visit transcripts.

• Engage in qualitative coding, as well as qualitative and quantitative analyses, including the cleaning of quantitative data and creation of manuscript tables and figures.

• Extract patient demographic and clinical information from electronic health records.

• Collaborate with research managers, Principal Investigators, BMC/BUMC IT, and external programs/vendors.

• Maintain study visit materials, data collection systems, regulatory submissions, and regulatory files.

• Coordinate weekly study team meetings, which includes scheduling, note-taking, and following up on action items.

• Contribute to study team quality improvement and educational initiatives.

• Conduct literature reviews as background research.

• Supervise and mentor student research assistants.

• Execute office-related tasks such as answering phones, managing mail and faxes, and scanning documents.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in a clinical research environment is highly preferred.

• Strong preference for candidates with qualitative interviewing and coding experience.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential.

• Familiarity with REDCap is strongly preferred.

• Strong interpersonal abilities; must be able to effectively engage with all levels of staff and external contacts.

• Cultural sensitivity and comfort in interacting with a diverse range of social, racial, and ethnic populations.

• Detail-oriented, demonstrating follow-through on tasks and the ability to consult with the Principal Investigator regarding obstacles.

• Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize workload.

• Must exercise discretion and comply with confidentiality guidelines at all times.

• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
