Clinical Research Budget Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold a comprehensive understanding of Headlands’ CTMS/clinical applications platform, CRIO, particularly its financial components.

• Collaborate with the Budget & Contract team to analyze and clarify clinical trial budgets and payment terms.

• Recognize potential collection issues and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.

• Precisely input clinical trial budgets and payment terms into the CRIO system.

• Partner with eSource Architects to pinpoint financial considerations during the creation of new studies in the system.

• Proactively oversee study budgets throughout the entire study lifecycle.

• Engage in internal study kick-off meetings and offer guidance on CTMS configuration to sites and Accounts Receivable.

• Create and enhance processes to facilitate better communication between sites and Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely sponsor invoicing.

• Act as the main contact person for the CRIO stipend module.

• Handle configuration requests and manage the CRIO Finance inbox.

• Collaborate with application vendors to resolve issues, track enhancements, and oversee invoices.

• Foster collaborative relationships across Finance, Clinical Operations, and other corporate teams.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• Experience or exposure to clinical research budgets is essential.

• Proficiency in using a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) is required; familiarity with CRIO is highly advantageous.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are crucial.

• Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend contract payment terms is required.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, are needed.
