Clinical Research Associate II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee and take ownership of the advancement of clinical trials at investigative sites.

• Ensure that clinical studies are performed, documented, and reported in accordance with the protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and all relevant regulations and standards.

• Coordinate the necessary activities for the setup and monitoring of studies.

• Identify and select investigators.

• Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions.

• Conduct pre-study and initiation visits.

• Travel to sites for morning visits.

• Recognize potential study risks and suggest mitigation strategies.

• Manage conflicts using effective resolution techniques.

• Support investigator meetings, site visits, and updates for the project team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in life sciences and/or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 2 years as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in a CRO or the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, or equivalent relevant experience and/or proven competencies.

• Experience in site management or a similar role within clinical research.

• Background in managing oncology studies.

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Client-focused mindset.

• Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays, up to approximately 50–60% of the time.

• Proficiency in English and Dutch.

• Knowledge of French is an advantage.

• Experience with study start-up activities is preferred.

• Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment without the need for employer sponsorship.
