Clinical Psychologist, Licensed in Iowa

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding evidence-based psychotherapy to seniors through telehealth services (15 hours or more weekly).

• Perform clinical assessments and intake evaluations utilizing geriatric assessment tools.

• Create and execute individualized treatment plans, consistently monitoring client progress and modifying strategies as necessary.

• Ensure comprehensive and timely documentation in line with company policies (aided by our AI-driven scribe).

• Assist clients during life transitions (such as retirement, bereavement, and isolation) with a compassionate and age-sensitive approach.

• Engage in regular team meetings to uphold best practices.

• Aid clients through therapeutic life changes, including retirement, loss of independence, or bereavement, using a considerate and age-appropriate method.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to assist the Sailor Health team on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis (minimum of 15 hours weekly).

• Educational background in Clinical Psychology: either a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology.

• Prior experience working with older adults is highly preferred.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and conducting therapy via telehealth.
