This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Inspire and lead the project team to achieve objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Enforce project governance protocols and procedures.
• Create and sustain realistic project timelines and define task durations.
• Keep project timelines on track by identifying when to escalate risks to the critical path.
• Oversee project progress while maintaining an overarching perspective without overlooking essential details.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations and feasibility analyses to ensure project success and appropriate resource allocation.
• Assess time and financial commitments necessary for project task completion.
• Guide clients and users through the established change control processes.
• Take ownership of the project scope and proactively address any scope creep.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plan documentation and reports for regular leadership updates.
• Identify and implement process improvements when inefficiencies are detected.
• Gather, analyze, and compile approved metrics to showcase project success and progress in presentations and reports.
• Document lessons learned for project closeout and evaluation purposes.
• Manage the transition support to the operations team following project go-live.
• Work in partnership with clients to plan, install, implement, and maintain hardware and software solutions.
• Adhere to HIPAA confidentiality regulations for all accessed activities and information.
• Establish project priorities based on client needs, ensuring timely project completion to meet set deadlines.
• Actively collaborate with the Chief Services Officer and clients to determine or adjust project priorities.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients and their staff.
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science (Required).
• At least 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or in a comparable role (Required).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management (Required).
• At least 3 years of experience in Laboratory Information Systems (Required).
• Experience with IT and Healthcare strategies.
• Proven technical skills related to all computer-related activities.
• Ability to comprehend all laboratory-related computer applications and the capability to learn and apply new applications and programs.
