This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee operational tasks related to biomarkers for clinical trials and programs.
• Serve as the representative for biomarker operations, leading and participating in cross-functional activities and initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison for vendors, managing relationships, addressing account-level issues, and enhancing processes.
• Supervise and assess the performance of junior project managers.
• Independently handle biomarker and bio-sample testing activities for clinical trials.
• Monitor lab vendor performance and serve as the main point of contact to resolve account-level issues while fostering collaboration and process improvements.
• Engage and communicate with internal functional stakeholders to advance biomarker-related tasks for clinical trials.
• Establish collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams as the biomarker operations representative, leading and participating in cross-functional initiatives and activities.
• Work alongside internal teams to review essential study documents and provide training to investigator sites when necessary regarding sample collection schedules, processing, and shipping.
• Attend clinical study team and program meetings, sharing updates and insights on biomarker activities and progress.
• Possess a strong understanding of CDx regulations and manage three-way communications between device partners and lab vendors.
• 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with a Master's degree, or 3+ years with an MD or PhD in a biology or medical field.
• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or academia.
• Knowledge of scientific principles and experience in translational research and oncology biomarker development.
• Minimum of 7 years of project management experience.
• Demonstrated organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple oncology programs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• High sense of responsibility and ability to respond promptly.
