Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct outbound and receive inbound calls with Humana members

• Gather medication history details

• Prepare members for thorough medication evaluations

• Advise on optimizing prescription medications for patients using multiple prescriptions

• Foster health awareness through Rx Education and targeted quarterly initiatives

• Support Pharmacists by making and receiving calls to verify medication adherence and offer counseling

• Execute various, moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support tasks

• Carry out calculations and semi-routine tasks

• Report to a supervisor in Clinical Programs

⛳️ Requirements

• Active State Pharmacy Technician License OR National Pharmacy Technician Certification

• Practical knowledge of insurance processing, customer service, or call center operations

• Must have a designated workspace with a locking door

• Availability to work any hours from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm EST

• Willingness to work on holidays, weekends, and overtime as necessary

• Punctuality with camera ON during the initial 2+ weeks of training and mandatory leadership meetings

• Commitment to remain in the position and campaign for at least twelve months

• Adherence to attendance policies during the 180-day evaluation period, avoiding unapproved absences, tardiness, and early departures

• Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience

• Experience in mail order or retail pharmacy

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish

• Prior experience in a call center or pharmacy environment

• Ability to resolve problems and contribute to team-based solutions

• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed

• Dedicated workspace free from distractions to ensure confidentiality of PHI/HIPAA information
