This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive support to both patients and healthcare providers by enhancing the quality of patient care.

• Cultivate meaningful relationships with patients and prescribers.

• Analyze and interpret clinicians' patient care notes and assessments.

• Create and refine clinical protocols tailored to specific diseases and medications.

• Oversee ongoing patient adherence to prescribed therapies.

• Review electronic medical records (EMR) to examine drug and disease interactions.

• Suggest alternative therapeutic drug regimens when necessary.

• Monitor and assess therapies for potential side effects.

• Conduct medication therapy management (MTM).

• Perform clinical interventions, including pharmacist consultations and motivational interviewing techniques.

• Track productivity and generate reports accordingly.

• Identify and address insurance-related challenges.

• Supervise the communication efforts of support staff.

• Ensure compliance with drug laws and maintain current registration.

• Engage in direct communication with other healthcare professionals.

• Enhance personal expertise through participation in educational programs.

• Assist with research initiatives.

• Safeguard the organization’s interests by maintaining confidentiality of information.

• Keep up-to-date with job knowledge through educational opportunities.

• Demonstrate a willingness to do whatever is necessary for the advancement of the Company.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or an equivalent advanced degree and hold a valid Pharmacist license.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with EPIC/QS1/WILLOW software is advantageous.

• Ability to analyze information, exercise sound judgment, and exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of specialty medication pharmacology and local/state/federal pharmacy regulations is required.

• Capable of managing processes while demonstrating strong technical and clinical competencies.

• Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
