Clinical Consulting Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct clinical reviews and consultations regarding medication requests, prior authorizations, and benefit determinations.

• Assess the appropriateness of therapy, dosing, and safety in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.

• Work collaboratively with providers to clarify prescriptions and suggest alternatives as needed.

• Assist with complex case reviews and appeals by providing precise clinical documentation.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance medication adherence, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

• Train internal teams on formulary management, utilization review, and updates to pharmacy policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• R.Ph is required; PharmD is preferred.

• Must possess a full, current, and unrestricted pharmacist license in PA, TN, and/or OH.

• Capability to acquire additional state licensure as needed for business operations.

• A minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with formulary management, clinical guidelines, and pharmacy benefit structures is essential.
