Clinical Operations Supervisor – Rural Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist in the daily clinical and administrative functions for Leidos QTC Health Services' rural health service delivery model.

• Act as the primary operational contact for rural health program sites, mobile unit operations, and partnerships with community-based clinics.

• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and logistical coordination across various rural locations.

• Work in conjunction with logistics, biomedical, and clinical teams to analyze inventory data, usage statistics, and purchasing histories.

• Engage in special projects related to healthcare and compliance with regulations.

• Identify obstacles to care in rural areas and suggest feasible solutions.

• Ensure that clinical operations adhere to federal, state, and local laws, as well as VA/DoD contractual obligations, CMS guidelines, and state medical practice acts.

• Maintain readiness for audits and inspections by monitoring protocol modifications and managing documentation effectively.

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance on corrective action initiatives.

• Assist with credentialing, verification of licenses, and privileging for clinical personnel.

• Perform root-cause analysis on service delivery shortfalls, safety incidents, and patient experience issues.

• Create and monitor improvement plans until resolution.

• Evaluate business and operational needs and oversee related projects.

• Generate operational reports, executive summaries, and performance dashboards for program leadership and federal agency stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution along with 5 years of pertinent clinical research or clinical operations experience.

• Relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

• Current Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse license.

• Graduation from a state-approved and accredited nursing program recognized by ACEN or CCNE.

• A valid, current, and unrestricted license to practice nursing issued by the state Board of Nursing.

• Capability to apply for and fulfill requirements to meet the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for practice across the U.S.

• Certification in ACLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.

• Experience in managing operations at distributed or rural sites, including mobile health, telehealth, or community-based programs.

• Willingness to travel 50–75% and possess a valid driver's license.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• General understanding of federal healthcare compliance regulations, including VA/DoD contracts, HIPAA, and CMS Conditions of Participation.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and healthcare operations software.

• Experience with data reporting and dashboard creation tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex operational information to varied audiences.

• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.

• Experience in supporting VA disability examination programs or federal health services contracts is preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth platform management and multi-state telehealth regulatory frameworks is preferred.
