Clinical Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily scheduling, rescheduling, and tracking of PTO.

• Coordinate coverage for unexpected provider absences, manage schedule adjustments, and system updates.

• Address non-clinical patient inquiries and complaints.

• Document tracking information and direct non-clinical emergencies to the relevant leaders.

• Organize meetings for the Medical Services Director.

• Manage IT requests and refresh internal FAQs.

• Compile operational reports.

• Work closely with MS Operations colleagues on shift, function, or specialty coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in healthcare operations, medical scheduling, clinic coordination, or a high-volume virtual operations support setting.

• Strong familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software; Athena experience is preferred.

• Proficient in Slack/Teams and spreadsheet/data management.

• Willingness to accommodate a flexible operational schedule, including evenings, weekends, and rotating on-call duties.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capable of handling sensitive healthcare discussions with professionalism.

• Successful completion of a standard healthcare background check and credentialing verification process.
