
Clinical Informatics Analyst β EHR, Healthcare Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collect, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements for healthcare systems and informatics projects.
β’ Assess clinical and operational workflows to pinpoint areas for improvement.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including health systems, EHR vendors (such as Epic and Cerner/Oracle Health), academic medical centers, research institutions, health payers, federal and state Veterans Affairs agencies, and interoperability partners, to facilitate optimization, analysis, or enhancement initiatives.
β’ Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate program effectiveness, information modeling, and performance metrics.
β’ Assist in designing and documenting system interfaces, data workflows, and interoperability architectures.
β’ Ensure compliance with federal healthcare data standards and initiatives pertaining to interoperability and health information exchange.
β’ Create and deliver presentations and recommendations to clinical and administrative stakeholders.
β’ Serve as a liaison among clinical staff, IT teams, and leadership.
β’ Support informatics and process improvement initiatives across various healthcare programs.
β’ 8-10 years of experience in supporting healthcare IT systems or health information management in areas such as clinical informatics, healthcare IT/EHR systems, or healthcare analytics and operations.
β’ Proficiency in requirements gathering, use case and workflow analysis, and process documentation essential for the development of clinical informatics software or related project activities.
β’ Knowledge of planning, analyzing, assessing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operational programs and business processes using both qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
β’ Capability to effectively manipulate data to present program status and insights to stakeholders, including actionable recommendations for enhancing business processes.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with clinical and technical teams; adept at presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
β’ Masterβs degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
β’ Willingness to work nights and weekends occasionally if required.
