Clinical Guidelines Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Prioritizes and oversees program deliverables by executing guideline development processes.

• Coordinates project outputs across various committees.

• Collaborates with committee chairs and physician members to create, review, and revise evidence-based guidelines.

• Edits documents to ensure completeness and compliance with established methods.

• Adheres to ACR methodologies for conducting systematic literature searches and summarizing research articles.

• Provides education to committee members on methodology and investigates AI resources for consistent data extraction.

• Applies methods and tools to guarantee high-quality results.

• Records and reports unintentional variations for potential process enhancements.

• Assesses content for alignment with program scope and methodological criteria.

• Works together with physician members to create consensus surveys and improve clinical diagrams and tables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health science, public health, or a related discipline.

• 3-6 years of experience in crafting clinical practice guidelines, performing literature searches and evidence assessments, as well as writing and editing technical manuscripts.

• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple inputs, versions, and deadlines.

• Background in evidence-based medicine or healthcare research.

• Collaborative approach with proactive communication and robust critical-thinking skills.

• Familiarity with recognized guideline tools and standards (e.g., NAM Trustworthy Guidelines, PRISMA, AGREE, GRADE).

• Detail-oriented with exceptional verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
