Clinical Genomic Scientist – WGS Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate test requisition forms and clinical documentation.

• Conduct case analysis utilizing the Emedgene platform.

• Identify and choose variants pertinent to the proband’s phenotype.

• Request confirmatory testing when deemed necessary.

• Share findings during cross-team meetings.

• Opportunities for cross-training in WGS variant curation or clinical indications may arise as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree: Master's in Genetic Counseling, MD, or PhD in clinical medicine, genetics, molecular biology, or a related field.

• Knowledge of American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) variant curation guidelines.

• 1 year of prior experience with whole exome or whole genome case review is preferred (for rank I).

• 2 years of experience with whole exome or whole genome case review is preferred (for rank II).

• 5 years of experience with whole exome or whole genome case review is preferred (for rank III).

• 7 years of experience with whole exome or whole genome case review is preferred (for senior rank).

• 10 years of experience with whole exome or whole genome case review is preferred (for professional rank).

• Demonstrated comprehensive expertise in gene-disease correlation and case analysis variant selection.
