This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Assist the neurologist in maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation and managing medical records.
• Examine, modify, and enhance physician notes and AI-generated medical documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
• Detect missing, inconsistent, duplicated, or erroneous information in medical records.
• Keep patient information accurate and well-organized within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Review medical records and compile pertinent information for patient appointments and physician documentation.
• Oversee patient intake, scheduling, appointment coordination, and follow-up activities.
• Communicate in a professional manner with patients, healthcare providers, attorneys, law firms, and other external stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage referrals, medical records, and associated documentation.
• Dispatch authorized documentation to the relevant external parties and monitor outstanding requests.
• Follow up on missing records, incomplete information, referrals, and administrative needs.
• Utilize AI tools, EHR systems, Google Workspace, and other digital platforms effectively.
• Adhere to established templates, procedures, and physician-specific workflows.
• Independently address routine documentation and administrative challenges and escalate issues when clinical judgment is necessary.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information appropriately.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare experience is preferred, especially in medical scribing, clinical documentation, medical records, or similar clinical support roles.
• A clinical background is highly favored: foreign-trained physician, RN, Senior Medical Scribe, Clinical Documentation Specialist, or a similar profile.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation is essential.
• Prior experience with U.S. healthcare providers, EHR systems, and U.S. medical documentation is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written English skills with the ability to produce precise and professional medical documentation.
• Experience in reviewing, editing, and correcting clinical or medical notes.
• Capability to assess and refine AI-generated medical documentation for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
• Strong familiarity with AI tools and technology, along with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace for effective communication and documentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of accuracy.
• Ability to consistently follow detailed procedures, templates, and workflows.
• Capacity to independently identify and resolve routine documentation and administrative challenges.
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and the appropriate management of sensitive medical information.
• Reliable computer, high-speed internet access, and a professional remote working environment are required.
• Must be available to work during Pacific Time business hours consistently.
• Ability to work two weekends each month is necessary.
• Must be comfortable working seven consecutive days twice per month.
